A Map of all the Town of Oswego and part of Scriba, 1858

 

Writing in the top left corner of the map says: “John W. Judson, Copied from an official map filed in Town Clerk’s Office of Town of Oswego.” 

 

Note:  This map does not provide many names of land owners but does show how the Military Tract lots were subdivided.  However, it isn’t clear how this map was used as I have a copy of a deed for land sold by George F Talman to Jesse Gray in 1849 (County Deed Book K85, p. 443).  The deed states that Jesse bought lot 109 located in Military Tract Lot 7.  This map shows all of Lot 7 being owned by members of the Burt family with numbers in the 90s.
