• Birth: Based on US Census records, Abt 1785, Connecticut. 1790 Census record for Josiah Beckwith lists two females, his wife Lucy and a daughter.

1800 Census record for Josiah Beckwith lists one female less than 16 years old and one female over 45 years of age.

Note: The 1810 Census also lists one female under the age of 16. This is inconsistent with the previous record for 1800 and the belief that this daughter married Isaac Warner between 1800 and 1810.

• Given Name: Probably Lucy after her mother and grandmother.

• Marriage: Based on Josiah Beckwith's will. Josiah identified money to be left to the heirs of Isaac Warner in his will dated 1823. Josiah also identified Isaac as the guardian of his daughter Harriet C Beckwith. Isaac's wife is not identified. It is possible that Isaac Warner was married to a sister of Josiah Beckwith. In Josiah's will, Isaac Warner is identified as living in Middletown. An Isaac Warner is not listed in the 1790, 1800, and 1810 Census records for Middletown. An Isaac Warner is listed in the 1820, 1830, and 1840 Census for Middletown.
