Y., July 11th, 1838, she came to Oswego when nine yeans of age, where the rest of her life was spent. In 1875 she married William Harcourt; he died many years ago and since that time till coming to the Home, she sustained herself by sewing as long as possible. But the years increasing and strength and vigor failing and having no near relatives, she found this home a haven of rest. Surly she needed the rest and relief from all cares, for rest and a comfortable home was something she had not had tor many years and if ever a person was happy and grateful for these necessities of life she most certainly was. Entered the Home on Thursday, October 5th, 1910, passed beyond March 20th, 1921, aged 83 years, having been an inmate, ten years.
Mary married William L. Harcourt. (William L. Harcourt was born about 1820 in New York and died about 1886 in Oswego Town, Oswego, New York.)
