John Ostrander of Minetto, died Sunday at the advanced ago of eighty three years, Mr. Ostrander was for many years a farmer residing in the Colby neighborhood on the road leading to Sterling from Southwest Oswego, just beyond the Nine Mile Creek, but for twenty years or so has resided at Minetto. He was a brother-in-law of Mr. Schuyler Worden, the well known horticulturist of Minetto, and the father-in-law of Mr. Henry Lewis of this city. He has been for more than an ordinary lifetime a well known citizen of the town of Oswego.
