Relatives and Friends Enjoy Day at Maplewood.

The fifty-second annual reunion of the White family was held at Maplewood, PittBford, on Thursday and was attended by seventy of the relatives and friends, most of whom live in iMonroe and Wayne counties. Those coming the longest distance were *Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Dodge and three daughters, of Buffalo. Mrs. Elzibaeth Buckland, of Rochester, is the only one of the original family of Chabod and Sarah White now living, and although more than 80 years of age, was present as the guest of honor. A most interesting history of the family, prepared by her, was read at the business meeting.

Much regret was felt for the absence of Mr. and Mrs. Emory D. Lapham, who have always taken an active interest in the reunions. They recently removed to Florida and had a narrow escape from the submarines on iMay 26th in going from (New York to Jacksonville on the steamer Mohawk.

The principal event of the day was the dinner, before which all joined in singing America, and a service flag, presented by Mrs. M. L. Phillips, of Rochester, on which seven stars were attached as the following namea of those in the service were read: Arthur M. AldrWge, Robert W. Briggs, George S. Allen, George D. Briggs, Verne Gibbs, Harold, Gibbs and Lesley Aldridge. The flag was unfurled by two veterans, A. T. White and J. M. Deyo.

The following officers and committees were selected for the ensuing year: President, A. T. White; vice-president, Mrs. M. L. Phillips; secretary and register, A. I. Dodge; arrangement committee, Dr. A. K. Hurley and L. R. Heed; finance and soliciting, C. W. Jones, L. B. Knapp; tables, Delia S. Whiting, Maude Gibbs.

The next reunion will be held at the same place on the last Thursday in June next year.
