Noted events in her life were: • Father: Letter dated Februrary 26, 1965 to Mrs. J. S. WIlson from Mrs. Isabel I. Abel, librarian. Deeds G 34 & 35 and 2H, 385 show that James Miller of Mountjoy township gave to James Sinclair and wife Mary all his goods and his land in trust for the issue of James and wife Mary, 15 Nov. 1775. Then 28 August 1792, the land transferred by James Sinkler and wife Mary of Hopewell to James Sainclair of Harford county, Maryland. • Death: Based on her husband's probate record, Abt 1805, Hopewell Township, York, Pennsylvania. She died before her husband James who died in 1806. Mary married James St. Clair Sr., son of William St. Clair and Margaret. (James St. Clair Sr. was born about 1741 in York County, Pennsylvania and died about 1806 in Hopewell Township, York, Pennsylvania.) |
