Donald A. Reinke, Jr. Donald A. Reinke, Jr., 71, of East Springfield, Pa., died Saturday, September 27, at St. Vincent’s Health Center in Erie, Pa. He was born March 30, 1937, in Conneaut, Ohio, and was the son of Donald A. and Thelma (Deveraux), Sr. A lifelong area resident, Mr. Reinke was employed for 30 years as a service technician for I.B.M., and most recently was a security officer with Fisher Security. He was in the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam era. Mr. Reinke enjoyed computers, inventing little gadgets, tinkering, building, birdwatching, and most especially his coffee and cigarettes. Survivors include his wife Renee G. (Fails) Reinke whom he married December 15, 1993; two daughters, Pam (Bert) Jackson of Conneaut, Ohio, and Sue (John) Afton of Wattsburg, PA; a son Mike (Janice) Reinke of Clarkston, Mich.; a step-daughter Jenny Peyton of East Springfield, Pa.; and a step-son Josh (Mellisa) Peyton of Girard, Pa. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; a sister Brenda Mallory of Everett, Wash.; and a brother Bill Reinke of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle Richard “Dick” Reinke; a sister Cheryl Reinke; and a cousin Andrew Reinke. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, with Mr. Reinke’s step-son Pastor Joshua Peyton of the New Life Community Church of Fairview, Pa., officiating. Burial will be in East Conneaut Cemetery, Conneaut, Ohio, at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
