Feb. 28.-Mrs. Charles Ramsey died Saturday morning. She bad been quite sick for several days, and, not being expected to live, word was sent Thursday to her father, James Porteus, who lived in Norfolk. Mr. Porteus made preparations to start early the next morning for Norwood and while sitting in his chair waiting for his breakfast, died suddenly. She leaves a husband and two children, one but a few weeks old.
