Walton O. Smith, 79, of Upper Black Eddy, formerly of Forestville, N.Y., died Thursday, April 22, in LifeQuest Nursing Home, Milford Township. He was the husband of Mabel (Manross) Smith. They were married for 52 years in January.
He owned and operated the Walton O. Smith Lumber Co., Forestville, 1947-78. He also owned gas wells in New York state.
