Died July 27, 2014 at home, at the age of 86. Betty was born on March 9, 1928 in Pawhuska Ok, to Lilia & Reginald Gatewood of Pawhuska, OK.

Betty is survived by 3 Sons; John R. Timmons & wife Paula, James R. Timmons, Rick Timmons & wife Terri

11 Grandchildren; J.T. Timmons & wife Martina, Lisa, Cassandra, Jason, Trisha, Sarah, Rachel, Shira, Mark & wife Amy, Angela & husband Jeremie, Summer & husband Lane

14 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews

Betty was preceded in death by; Lelia & Reginald Gatewood (Parents), her brother Gene Gatewood and her beloved husband John D. Timmons (2007)
Betty graduated high school in Pawhuska in 1948 and went on to marry John and have a family but besides being a housewife and mother Betty worked right beside her husband at the family business; Timmons Oil Company from 1961 to 2007 then she was still active in the company until her death.

Betty had many hobbies that included, hunting, fishing, flying planes, golfing, traveling and cooking, she loved to cook for family and the Church; Betty was baptized and had a great love of God and church and for taking care of people. She loved family gatherings and mostly having all her sons and their families at her house for get-togethers (and anybody else that wanted to pop on by).

Betty’s two most favorite things in life was taking care of her husband and family and then there were her Cookies, she loved eating cookies and she used to bake chocolate chip pecan cookies all the time when they lived on the farm, and if you knew Betty then you knew she never met a Cookie she didn’t want to eat.
We will miss her greatly, she was an inspiration to all who knew her, she loved anyone she ever met and if you had the joy of meeting her then you’ll never forget her.

Betty married John Daniel Timmons. (John Daniel Timmons was born on 27 Mar 1926 in Raymondsville, Texas and died on 1 Jul 2007 in Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma.)
