POUGHKEEPSIE - Sterling S. Reichardt, 81, of Poughkeepsie, died Oct. 14/99 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. Mr. Reichardt was born on 2/13, 1918 in New Brunswick, N.J., to the late Howard S. Reichardt and Evelyn Aldrich. He married on 10/16, 1949 in Mt. Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie, to Antoinette (Toni) Roglieri. He served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1946. He received the EAME Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. He worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Local #38 from which he retired in 1981. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Reichardt is survived by his wife, Antoinette Reichardt, Poughkeepsie; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Sterling Reichardt and Robin Reichardt, Arlington, TX; grandsons, Nicholas and Chad Reichardt, Arlington, TX; Jason and Adam Tapp; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and William Bucy, Austin, TX; and a brother Ronald Reichardt, Poughkeepsie. He is predeceased by his brother, Dr. Kenneth H. Reichardt (1978). Friends 5/call Oct. 18, 1999 from 10-11:45 a.m. at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 218 Mill St., Poughkeepsie. Service will follow 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 12:15 p.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie. Entombment will take place at the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations 5/be made to the American Lung Association, 8 Mountain Ave., Albany, NY; or to the Crohnes and Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Ave. South, 17th Floor, New York NY 10016-8804.
