Bio: John CABLE was the son of Elizabeth (unknown) and John CABLE. His father was born in MA. John was married twice, though which wife came first is unclear. He married Abigail SHERWOOD around 1700:

Wife: Abigail SHERWOOD b. 1721 d. 1758 in Fairfield, CT.

After John's death Abigail married Thomas Pike.

He conveyed property in 1708 to his son-in-law, also named John Cable. On 1 March 1708 he conveyed "the house which stands upon the acre I had of my father-in-law Isaac Sherwood" to his brother-in-law, Daniel Sherwood. John's father John CABLE, and grandfather John CABLE are listed as freemen in Fairfield, CT in 1669. His estate was inventoried on 8 August 1724 and distributed on 28 March 1727.
