Mary Patricia "Pat" Sullivan Hunter, age 82, of Erie, died Monday March 4, 2013 at Fairview Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born May 5, 1930 in Erie, a daughter of the late Harold and Ruth English Sullivan. She was a graduate of East High School class of 1948. Pat, along with her husband David, was the owner and operator of Hunter Rental. She was a member of the Saint Vincent Aide Society, Saint Peter Cathedral and the Erie Cursillo # 157. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David L. Hunter, Sr., whom she met in kindergarten at Wayne School. She is survived by her two daughters, Nora Latcovich and husband Daniel and Maureen Bell and husband Thomas both of Erie; three sons, Atty., David L. Hunter, Jr. and his wife Susan of Erie, Timothy Hunter, M.D. and wife Maria of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Michael Hunter and wife Joan of Owensboro, Ky.; one sister, Kathleen Kerr and husband Joseph of Erie; and sixteen grandchildren, David Hunter, III and wife Jessica, Sara Hunter and fiancé Michael Giammarise, Madeline Hunter, Martha Hunter, Erin Erginer and husband Kenan, Katie Latcovich, Daniel Latcovich, Jr., Timothy Hunter, II, Paul Hunter, Isabella Hunter, Joseph Bell and wife Christina, SSgt. Jonathan Bell and wife Jenny, Michael Hunter, Jr., Kathy Richard and husband Jon, Laura Hunter, and Thomas Hunter and wife Lauren. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Audrey, Leon, Jack, Ellenora, Tamara, Samuel and Joshua and many nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Peter Cathedral, 230 West 10th Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will private in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1128 State St., Ste 301, Erie, PA 16501.
