Mrs. Harvey Gray, a life long resident of Oswego Town, died yesterday morning from the effects of a severe shock of paralysis. The deceased was 76 years old. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Boyle of this city and Mrs. George Collins of Denver, and one son, Ralph Gray with whom she has resided for some years past.
The deceased was an estimable lady and during her long residence in Oswego Town made numberless friends who will receive with sorrow the announcement of her death.

Another Old Resident of Oswego Town Passes Away. Mrs. Percy S. Gray, widow of the late Harvey Gray, whose remains were to-day laid in Rural cemetery, died at the homestead on the Fifth street road Tuesday morning, June 9th, 1896. Her husband, three daughters and a little granddaughter were already there in the silent city of the dead.
Mrs. Gray was born in Dupeyster, St. Lawrence county, April 24, 1820. Her parents removed from there to Oswego in 1834. She was married to Mr. Gray April 3,1848. Six children were born to them, five daughters and one son. When the youngest child was but a babe Mr. Gray died, leaving the six children for Mrs. Gray to care for, and most faithfully did she perform the duties which devolved on her. Her children have indeed arisen and called her blessed. The oldest daughter, Mrs. George Collins, lives in Denver, Col. Mrs. W. H. Boyle lives in Oswego, and Ralph Gray remains on the old homestead where his grandfather David Gray, who was one of the pioneers in Oswego Town, settled in the early part of the present century.
