• Biography: From Memorials of elder John White, Page 21. Capt. Ebenezer White, son of Elizur, was born about 1781, and resided in Upper Middletown. He was lost at sea, Sept. 16, 1810, by the capsizing of a brig he was commander. He age was 29 years.
He married Elizabeth Sage of Upper Middletown, dau. of Epaphras Sage and Elizabeth Wells. She married 2d, 1817, Ashbel Post, and 3d, 1824, Dea. Josiah Beckwith of Hartford, who died in 1827. She was born March 14, 1785, and died in Cromwell, April 14, 1859, ae 74.
