Bio: Lucy's husband, Benjamin, died in his 30's leaving her with six small children and no means. Early in their marriage they lived in NYC and then moved to the hills norths of Mohawk, near Albany. A few years later they moved to Oneida Co.,N. Y., settling at Knoxboro. After her husband's death, she moved west to a farm near Ft. Atkinson, Wisc.
