Noted events in his life were: • Family: From John Huntley of Lyme, Connecticut, Compiled by Ivy Huntley Horn, 1953. MOSES HUNTLEY (8) (Moses, John) b. Lyme Conn. May 31, 1681; died East Haddam,Conn, before 1746 when administration of his estate was granted to his son William Huntley. He married January 21, 1706-7 Rachel Harris, and lived on land deeded to him from his father Moses, and deeded Oct. 14, 1726 Nathaniel Clark, Jr, land at Walnut Hill and Aug. 28, 1728 deeded fifty acres at Sunkepogeet to William Borden and on March 2, 1750 he bought 65 acres with dwelling on the west side of Eight Mile River adjoining land of Samuel Griffin and the highway of Daniel Driggs for one hundred and ten pounds. Moses married Rachel Harris January 21, 1706-? in Connecticut. |
