GATEWOOD, Thomas Elza, 62 of Del City, died March 12, 1987.

Mr. Gatewood was born Jan. 9, 1925 in Pershing, Okla. He worked in the Plumbing Supply Business for 36 years as a Salesman for Peerless - Oklahoma Company, later known as Kamen Supply Co. A Lengthy illness caused retirement in Oct. 1985. He was an avid fisherman.

Mr. Gatewood will be missed by many friends and relatives. Survived by his wife, Alma of the home; their 3 children, Tela Alice Patterson, Miami, Fla., Tommie Ann Clark, Newalla, OK, and Malcolm E. Gatewood, Okla. City; his 4 children by his late wife Alpha Burns Gatewood, Thomas E. Gatewood Jr., Perry Gatewood, and Larry Gatewood, all of Del City, and Rhonda Long, Spencer; 5 brothers, Reginald Gatewood, Wynona, OK, Keith Gatewood, Shawnee, OK, Ben Gatewood, Joe Bob Gatewood and John E. Gatewood, all of Norman; 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Gatewood will be Saturday March 14, 1987 at 10:00 AM in the BILL EISENHOUR SOUTHEAST CHAPEL, with burial in the Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.

A special thanks to the people of the following facilities, Midwest City Memorial Hospital, Rehabilitation Institute of Okla. and the Daily Living Center, and a special thanks to all of his fine Doctors and the excellent health professionals. Visitation at the funeral home Friday 5pm-8pm.
