• Marriage: Letter dated Februrary 26, 1965 to Mrs. J. S. WIlson from Mrs. Isabel I. Abel, librarian. Probate record for James Sinclair, 26 February 1811, states that Isabella (deceased) was the wife of William Slemmons.
Also states she had a son James Sinclair Slemmons, aged about 9 and a daughter, Elizabeth Slemmons, aged about 11.
