You mention their last son, William MacDonald (b 1869) on your site. I descend from Robert's (b 1818) and Mary's first son, Robert (b 1853). Would you have any information on Robert (b 1818) MacDonald's parents? I believe that Robert (b 1818) migrated to Nova Scotia from Scotland at @age 14 years. Around 1853, Robert (b 1818) and Mary were living in Southern Massachusetts/ Rhode Island area
