George R. Kelly, owner of the Troy Boiler Works and active in its management for fifty years died yesterday morning at the Troy Hospital after a brief illness.

For many years, Mr. Kelly conducted the Troy Boiler Works with his brother, John Kelly, and in recent years had been in complete management. He was active as head of the firm until being taken ill about ten days ago.

Mr. Kelly was a member of the Church of St. Paul the Apostle and of the Holy Name Society of the parish. His home was at 358 Ninth Street.

He was husband of the late Margaret A. Cassidy. Surviving are a son, Joseph G. Kelly of Troy; two daughter, Mrs. H. Guy Wilson of Troy and Mrs. Griffith B. Lewis of Watervliet, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 9 a.m. from the Funeral Home of George F. McLaughlin and son and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle's Church where a solemn requiem mass be celebrated. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.

Note: Watervliet is across the river from Troy.

Relatives Share in Property Left by Three County Residents Three wills were admitted to probate In Rensselaer County Surrogate's Court today. They are the wills of George K. Kelly, who died here Oct. 8. 1946; Mrs. Margaret F. Holloran, whose death occurred in this city, Oct. 10, 1946 and Jessie L. Robinson, who died at Troy, Sept. 23, 1946.

Mr. Kelly, the papers state, left an estate of more than $5,000 real and more than $5,000 personal. The estate, in equal portions, goes to a son and two daughters: Joseph G. Kelly and Margaret M. Wilson, 269 Ninth Street and Dorothy G. Lewis, Boght Road.
