MRS. STELLA S. GIBBS CLARK

Mrs. Stella S. Gibbs Clark, 78, wife of Elmer E. Clark and former resident of Syracuse, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William H. Rendell, Buffalo. A native of Rochester, Mrs. Clark came to Syracuse in 1881 and was a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Clark observed their 50th wedding anniversary four years ago. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Burr N. Prentice of West Lafayette, Ind., and Mrs. Rendell; a son, Ernest S. Clark of Poughkeepsie; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. Services were held Wednesday night at Mrs. Rendell's home, and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Thursday afternoon.
