Died on Saturday

Miss Mary F. Cavanaugh, a former resident of Dunkirk, died Saturday in St. Mary's hospital in Niagara Falls.

A native of Dunkirk, she was member of St. Mary's church and of the Catholic Daughters of America. For the past five years, Miss Cavanaugh had been employed by the Carborundhum company in Niagara Falls.

She was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Jane Cavanaugh of Dunkirk. The body will be brought to Dunkirk for burial.

Services were held this morning at 8:30 from the Reagan Funeral Home and at 9:00 o'clock in St. Mary's Church where Fr. Adolph Schmitt, C.P., celebrated requiem high mass. The bearers were John Flahaven, Paul Flahaven, John Cruser, Lee Moriarity. Interment took place in the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery where Fr. Adolph pronounced the final blessing. Relatives and friends attended from out of the city.
