Pulaski, July 1 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy M. Colvin Adams, 74, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arby L. Hort of Oswego. Friday afternoon, were conducted from the home of another daughter, Mrs. Owen McNett, Delano Street at 2 p. m. today. Rev Albert Hoag, rector of the St. James Episcopal church, officiated, and interment was in the Riverside cemetery, Pulaski. Mrs. Adams was the widow of the former John Adams, and had made her home with Mrs. McNett recently until she went to visit Mrs. Hort in Oswego. She had been ill since March when she fell and received serious injuries.
She was born in Orwell where she spent her early life until she moved to Pulaski in 1930. She was a member of the Rising Sun Rebekah lodge and the J. B. Butler post, Womens Relief corps.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Owen McNett of Pulaski, and Mrs. Hort of Oswego, a son, Elwin C. Adams of Ogdensburg, four sisters, Mrs. Alonzo Flagg, Mrs. John W. Potter, Orwell; Mrs. Anthony Fuller, Carthage; and Mrs. Charles Brown, Watertown; three brothers, William Colvin, Osceola, Clarence Colvin, Copenhagen and Ora Colvin, Fulton, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
