Inv. of Est. of Elizabeth Frost, 13 Aug. 1686; Robert Rumsey made oath. Agreement of heirs; two sons, Daniel and Joseph Frost; four sons-in-law Samuel Smith. Robert Rumsey, John Thorp, and Samuel Coley, who married for of her daus.
In 1663, Sarah Frost signed release to father Daniel for legacy from her gr. father William Frost; acknowledged 1682 as Sarah Smith. Simon Booth and Rebecca hi wife of York County, Mass., released father Daniel Frost from paying a legacy from gr. father William Frost, received through Mr. James Hill of Boston.

• Biography: From Frost Genealogy, Page 301. (2) DANIEL, son of William Frost the pioneer, whose will was dated July 23, 1682, and proven in 1684, names his wife and children. In 1675 he is released by his children and Simon Booth and wife Rebecca Booth of legacy left Rebecca by her grandfather, William Frost. Daniel m. in 1639 Elizabeth, daughter of John and Ann Barlow of Fairfield, Conn. The will of John Barlow was dated March 28, 1674, and proven the same year, mentions his wife and, among other children, his daughter Elizabeth Frost. Daniel Frost was known as one of the Bankside farmers of Fairfield, later known as Greene's Farms. An inventory on the estate of Elizabeth Frost was made Aug. 13, 1686.

Robert Rumsey; (I5) Hannah, m. John Thorp; (16) Either, m. Samuel Cooly, between the dates of her brother Isaac's will and 1686, when he is called son-in-law by Elizabeth Frost, and had Daniel, Jeremiah and Abigail, all bap. June 2, 1695.
