Married Elizabeth Hubbell, dau. of Richard.

She m. (2) Samuel Hull, as his second wife.

Inv. exhibited 11 Mar. 1698 [1698/9]. Widow Elizabeth; two sons and two daus. Distribution made in 1707 to Widow, eldest son Joseph, Abner, Ellin, and Sarah Frost. Sergt. Daniel Frost was appointed guardian to Joseph's son Joseph.

Distribution ordered, 6 Aug. 1712, of the dower set to Elizabeth Hull dec'd, widow of Joseph Frost.

On 8 Nov. 1718, Abner Frost, and Henry and Sarah Wakelee, of Stratfield, and Jacob and Hellenah Weed of Danbury, children and heirs of Elizabeth, late wife of Samuel Hull, and formerly wife of Joseph Frost of Fairfield and dau. of Sergt. Richard Hubbell of Stratfield, conveyed to Joseph Frost.

• Biography: From Frost Genealogy, Page 392. (11) JOSEPH, son of (2) Daniel and Elizabeth (Barlow) Frost, b. about 1644; m. Elizabeth, b. Guilford, Conn., Nov. 16, 1652, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Meigs) Hubbell. Richard Hubbell m. three times, and she was his first wife, being the daughter of John and granddaughter of Vincent Meigs of Dorsetshire, England, who settled in Weymouth, Mass. and d. Killingworth, Conn., 1658. The will of Sargent Richard Hubbell, dated April 5, 1699, and whose estate was inventoried Sept. 3, 1699, says he is seventy-two years old. For some reason this will was not allowed, but in it he mentions his third wife, Abigail; grandson, son of Lieut. John, his eldest son; son Samuel, Sr.; grandson, Ebenezer, of deceased son Ebenezer and wife Mary; son Richard; daughter Elizabeth Frost who in 1700 was called Elizabeth Hull; daughter Mary Newton ; daughter Martha Wakeman; son Samuel, Jr. ; daughter Abigail French; daughter Sarah, who in 1700 was called Sarah Stevenson; sons James, Joseph and John. Inventory on the estate of Joseph Frost was taken March 11, 1698, and the widow Elizabeth and John Barlow were to administer the estate. He left Iwo daughters and two sons. The estate was not divided until 1707, and was then distributed to Joseph, the eldest son Abnar, Ellen and Sarah and the widow, who, prior to 1699, had m. Samuel Hull and had two children by him. She d. in 1712.

Joseph married Elizabeth Hubbell, daughter of Sargent Richard Hubbell and Elizabeth Meigs. (Elizabeth Hubbell was born on 16 Nov 1652 in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut and died before Aug 1712.)
