• Obituary: Albany Times Union, 23 Nov 2014, Albany, New York. Lewis, G. Eric MENANDS G. Eric Lewis, 51, beloved husband of M. Tracey Brooks, slipped away amidst love and laughter, in the arms of family and friends, at his home on Friday, November 21, 2014. Born in Albany on April 15, 1963, he was the son of G. Richard and Maryrose McCauley Lewis of Latham. Eric had resided in Latham, Loudonville and most recently in Menands. He was a graduate of Shaker High School and Babson College, and was the vice president of Breton Industries and Hyperbaric Technology, Inc., in Amsterdam. Eric was a gregarious man with a passion for life and friends. We all know "he never met a stranger." Of all of his loves, none were more precious that his five children In addition to his wife and parents, Eric is survived by his children, G. Christopher Lewis, Megan Madeleine Lewis, Peter McCauley Lewis, Michael Ryan Lewis and Katherine Kiernan "KK" Lewis, all of Loudonville; his former wife and mother of his children, Amy Kiernan of Loudonville; and his sisters, Kristen (Randy) Kennedy of Atlanta, and Karen (Edward) Schuler of Rochester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., at St. Pius X Church. The family has requested that contributions be made in memory of Eric to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
