John Rogliero (Roglieri), 69, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, died 3/22/99, at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Rogliero was a Lab Technician for St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, before retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Italian Center and the Dutchess County YMCA. Also, he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Rogliero served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Born in Poughkeepsie on 7/7, 1929, he was a son of Vito and Maria Gemmati Rogliero. He married Rose Loricchio on 5/ 13, 1956 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie. Mrs. Rogliero survives at home. Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Antoinette Reichardt, Poughkeepsie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Rogliero is predeceased by one sister, Catherine Pennes. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. today at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie. Entombment will be in St. Peters Cemetery Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie. In lieu of flowers, donations 5/be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc, 218 Mill St., Poughkeepsie.

John married Rose Loricchio, daughter of Demetrio Loricchio and Maria Viani, on 13 May 1956 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess, New York. (Rose Loricchio was born on 24 Apr 1927 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess, New York and died on 28 Aug 2017 in Newburgh, New York.)
