Rose Roglieri, 90, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie passed away on August 28, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY.
Mrs. Roglieri worked for the Dutchess County Dep't of Social Services in Poughkeepsie for many years up until her retirement.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, former member of Saint Rita's and Saint Ann's Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 24, 1927. The daughter of the late Demetrio and Maria Viani Loricchio.
On May 13, 1956 she married John Roglieri at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Roglieri predeceased her on March 22, 1999.
Survivors include her brother, James Loricchio and his wife Denise of New Paltz, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Anna Morelli, Louise Costanzi and her brother, Frank Loricchio.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 1st 10:00am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie.
Entombment will follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum in Poughkeepsie.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550.
