The distribution of the estate of Joseph Gorham, dated 24 October 1787, proved 25 February 1797, mentions "relict Mary now wife of Asher Taylor." The will of Ebenezer Godfrey, dated 7 February, proved 19 March 1793, mentions wife Mary; nephew Ebenezer son of brother Nathan Gray; wife's son Jeremiah Taylor; wife and her son Samuel Gorham were executors. The will of Ebenezer Coley names wife Mary.
In the "Additions and Corrections to Families of Old Fairfield" Jacobus gives the same four marriages for Mary and adds a son Jared Taylor, said to have married Lydia Beers, bapt. 31 October 1784. The Beers genealogy shows that Jared and Lydia named their daughter Mary Grey Taylor.
The will of Mary Coley of Weston is dated 7 January 1817, proved 6 October 1825. It mentions son Samuel Gorham; son Joseph B. Gorham; son Jared Taylor; daughters Abigail and Polly. Seth Taylor of Norwalk was Executor.
