Catherine Lewis, age 88 of rural Coleman, died Thursday December 23 at the home of her daughter Ruth.
She was born January 14, 1888 in Coleman. She married Charles L. Lewis on December 14, 1911 in Coleman. He preceded her in death September 9, 1955.
She was a member of the Geneva Hope United Methodist Church in Coleman.
Surviving are 5 sons Carl, Kenneth, Clarence, Elmer and Vernell all of Coleman; 3 daughters Florence (Stanley) McCray of Saginaw, Ruth (Roy) Ramsey of Coleman and Kathleen (Lamar) Long of Coleman; one brother Charles Clarke of Coleman; 27 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 27 from the O'Laughlin Funeral Home in Coleman with Rev. James Ritchie officiating. Burial was in Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman.
