• Death: Based on Tithe Applotment and Tenement Valuation Records, Sep 1847, Bluepool, Cork, Ireland. John Kennedy was Edward Kennedy’s father. John died sometime between the first collection of information in the House book and 1847. He is listed in the 1834 tithe records and his name is crossed out and replaced with Edward’s in the 24 1847 update of the House Book for Bluepool. The initial date for the House Book is unknown but it had to be after 1834 and before 1847. In addition, a John Kennedy is listed as a sponsor for John H Connell in his baptism record dated 23 August 1847. It is assumed that this is the same John Kennedy. Therefore, he died between 23 August 1847 and 24 September 1847.
