Funeral services will be conducted Saturday for Mrs. J. Edwin Miller, 50, of 449 10th Street, Troy, who died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Mrs. Miller, the former Helen M. Humes, was employed in Albany as secretary for the United Steel Workers of America. A native of Troy, she was a member of St. Patrick's Church and its Altar-Rosary Society. Survivors, besides her husband, a former Albany resident, include a brother, Louis P Duval of Saratoga Springs. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in McLoughlin Funeral Home, Glen and Sixth Avenues, and at 10 in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Troy.

The marriage of Miss Helen M. Humes, daughter of Thomas J. Humes and the late Margaret J. Humes, to James E. Miller of 334 Clinton Ave, Albany, son of the late Mrs. Mary McCauley Millar, has been announced by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Anna Humes of 2059 5th Ave. Rev. James E. Daley officiated at the ceremony at St. Patrick's Church, Sunday, April I. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kowanaky. The couple will reside at 44t 10th St. when they return from a wedding trip to New York. The bride is secretary of the United Steel Workers of America in Watervliet. Her husband is an inspector in the spinning room of the Albany Felt Co.
