Noted events in his life were: • Residence: From John Huntley of Lyme Connecticut, Ivy Huntley Horn, 1953, Page 35, 7 Jan 1772, Marlow, Cheshire, New Hampshire. The Township of Marlow, about ten miles north of Keene, N, H. was granted Oct, 7, 1761 to William Noyse and sixty three others. The grantees were residents of Connecticut, principally in the vicinity of Lyme and Colchester, January 7, 1772 Nathan Huntley and Eber Lewis, selectmen of the town gave the list of heads of families and single men living in the town. Abel married Lucy Calkins, daughter of Stephen Calkins and Unknown, on 23 Mar 1759 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut. (Lucy Calkins was born on 6 Aug 1723 in Norwich, Connecticut and died in Dec 1798 in Lyme, Connecticut.)
