DIED THIS MORNING

Daniel J Carroll died this morning at his residence, 32 East Fifth street, following a three months illness.

Born In Dunkirk July 8 1883, Mr. Carroll lived here all his life with the exception of 15 years he resided in Erie. He was employed as a salesman and was a member of St Mary's church.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Carroll, a son Daniel Carroll Jr. of Wanakah; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Barnes of Dunkirk and Mrs. Walter Wilcox of Fredonia; a brother John T. Carroll of Baltimore. Six grand- children also survive.

Daniel married Elizabeth Dempsey in 1906. (Elizabeth Dempsey was born in 1883 in New York and died in 1954 in Dunkirk, Chautauqua, New York.)
