Noted events in his life were: • Residence: From census, 1820, Scipio, Cayuga, New York. He has three sons under the age of 10. He and his wife are both listed as over 26. He is listed as being engaged in agriculture. • Biography: Leading citizens of Livingston and Wyoming Counties, New York, Published by Biographical Review Pub. Co., Boston, 1895. Azor Patchin, son of Jesse, was a native of Ballston Spa and was there educated. He learned the hatter's trade in Schenectady and followed that occupation during the greater part of his active life. He emigrated to Wisconsin in later years and passed the last years of his life with his son. He was married to Electa Wanzer and of this marriage eight children were born, two of whom died in infancy. The others were Ira, Willard B., ___ Smith, Ann Eliza, William and Daniel all of whom except William are still living. • Gravestone: From Find a Grave, Jul 1848, Oregon, Dane, Wisconsin. Azor Patchin Azor married Electa Wanzer. (Electa Wanzer was born on 24 Nov 1788 in New York and died on 13 Oct 1860 in Oregon, Dane, Wisconsin.) |
