Yale Coll. 1725; m. 15 March 1731, Rebecca Winthrop, dau. of John Still and Ann Winthrop and granddaughter of Hon. Waitstill and Mary (Browne) Winthrop. He was a brigadier-general in the Revolution, and after the war Collector of the Port of New London. (Part II. 158.)
