• Occupation: Fulton Year Book, 1980, Fulton, Oswego, New York. Miss Macdonald, French teacher and advisor of the French Club, visited France this past summer for the first time. She thoroughly enjoyed a month's stay in Bordeaux. Her pet peeve is people interrupting her when she's talking. Miss Macdonald's most used phrases are "Right?", and "It'll work out somehow".

She retired in 1985.

Obituary

Janet C. Macdonald, 93 of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, June 13. Born in Oswego, she resided in Fulton most of her life. Janet retired as a French and English teacher at G. Ray Bodley High School and had previously taught at Gilboa Central Schools in Gilboa, NY. She was a member of First United Methodist Church; Elizabeth Chapter 105, O.E.S. and Kayandatsyona Chapter, D.A.R. all in Fulton.

Surviving are her brother, Robert S. (JoAn) Macdonald of Port Orange, FL; a niece, Nancy Macdonald of Hamden, NY and two nephews, Robert B. (Nancy) Macdonald of Holly Springs, NC and William B. (Heidi) Macdonald of Gastonia, NC.

The family will greet friends and neighbors from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway in Fulton.
